Alright guys I finally got off my a$$ and finished the plate. I know I said it before but all it needs now is powder coating. Dropping it off this week. Glad I waited as it needed some "tweaks" to get everything to work together.

Here is the fuel side of the plate...

Overall line:

Inlet to plate:

Now we have the nitrous side of the plate...

Overall line:

Inlet to plate:

And lastly the overall plate, solenoids, heat shield, and feed lines assembled:

Now I just need to take the hard lines and polish them up so they look real nice. Clean all parts up and once the heat shield is back and coated put it all on the motor. I smell 10's this year!

Thanks Chris!

I can't wait either. Well really I just can't wait for the first juice run, miss that pull!

I did want to ask after looking at it some more...

Is there any negative side effects to having the fuel line shorter than the nitrous? Will it throw off the A/F of the factory NX jet spread? Should I remake the lines and try to make them as close as possible in length to equalize them...

The nitrous does move alot faster than the fuel will, so you may be just perfect.

Honestly I kind of assumed at the pressure they operate at, the fuel could stand to be a little shorter but I am no expert at laughing gas so I come to you guys!

Sounds like I am leaving it alone. My thumbs thank me after bending these lines!

Thanks Aaron! Saw your install, looks good!

Got off my a$$ today and went to drop the mount off for powdercoat and the place I use locally looks to have closed!

I have a few emails out to places I can ship it off to.

Man i hate when that happens...but with this economy we too have had some local powdercoating / mechanical shops go under too. It sucks ( because its happened to me before ) cause i bet you used them for years and had a good relationship with the guys/ gals that worked there.

Yeah I hear ya. Sad to see any business fail when you know people's lives will be affected. They were a little higher cost than other places I have dealt with but did have quality work and most of the time same day turn arounds. I have contacted the shop I used to use in GA and they are much cheaper (still quality work) but now I have shipping time and cost. Oh well, I want to see this mount done and installed! Spring is here and I need a jug run!

And its main function to shield heat has proven to work! I drove the car around for 30 miles or so last friday when I brought it home! I got home and popped the hood & pulled the air cleaner. Intake was screaming hot as well as the heat shield. Not as hot as the intake but still pretty warm. But the float bowls on the carb were barely warm!! Now to see how it does in the summer heat! Before this if the intake was that hot I couldn't even think of touching the carb...

Already have done some!

I am working on the carb to get it to cruise smooth and transition clean. Hoping the wife and kids get me some chassis dyno time for fathers day and I can get WOT A/F dialed in and then see what she looks like on the 100 pills to start! Won't go much over that till I get the stand alone fuel system in place for the plate. Excited to see what it's like with the progressive this year.
